TIMEX Run 2012 | Race Results and Review

Congratulations to all the winners and finishers of the 2012 Timex Run!  To the 10k runners did you do a sub-Piolo?

The race was held at the familiar grounds of Fort Bonifacio. As with usual RunRio standards, water was adequate and the course was well manned. Security controlled the traffic really well allowing all the runners to have an almost seemless run. It was fun going around Fort Bonifacio for a couple of kilometers before hitting the dreaded flyover.

The usual celebrity and running suspects were also present during the race. I saw Tessa Prieto Valdes, Sen. Pia Cayetano,  Jaymie Pizarro aka The Bullrunner, and of course Coach Rio and Papa Piolo. The entire TIMEX-TMM Triathlon Team of course were also present to support the event.

Feel free to rate the race using our ratings system above or post your opinion about the race in our comment box below!

All details are based on the data gathered from the UHF RFID D-Tag by ChronoTrack Systems.

Finish Time: is time from the gun start to the time you crossed the finish line. Results for this is used as basis for determining the Top 3 finishers.

Chip Time: is when you cross the start line to the finish line. This is most helpful for you to know your personal record (PR).

It’s not everyday most people get to say they ran with Piolo, today 7000+ people did.

A triathlete making a comeback and a true blue Scorpio. That sums it up quite nicely :)
