SUUNTO Ambit Triathlon Power Camp | Post Camp
Conquering new territory at the SUUNTO Ambit Triathlon Power Camp. For two days triathletes participated in an intensive and informative training regimen at the first ever SUUNTO Ambit Triathlon Power Camp, a 2-day triathlon camp led by Coach Andy Leuterio.
One of the most experienced triathletes in the Philippines specializing in coaching for Age Group athletes, Coach Andy has been a long-time user of SUUNTO and credits the Ambit as a vital tool in his training arsenal.
Held at The Village Sports Club in BF Homes, Paranaque, the camp consisted of multiple swim, bike, and run sessions punctuated by informative talks on training with various tools and methodologies.
My intent was to share what I know so participants can also breakthrough in the races to come. It’s not enough that you work hard. You also have to work smart, especially if you’re someone with limited training time but still want to succeed”, said Coach Andy.
The SUUNTO Ambit is one of the most effective tools a triathlete can have. We hope that the camp helped users understand its capabilities and themselves so they can really be the best athlete they were meant to be. We plan to have even bigger Ambit Power Camps in the future”, said Mascy Cabuhat-Pineda, Brand Manager for Time Depot, the distributor of SUUNTO products in the Philippines.
The SUUNTO Ambit Triathlon Power Camp was also supported by Gatorade (Official Sports Drink), RUNNR, Dan’s, Yurbuds, Salice, The Village Sports Club, The Bull Runner, The Philippine Star, and Multisport Magazine.
