Triman Triathlon 2015 | Race Results and Review

YOU ARE A TRIMAN! Congratulations to all the winners and finishers of the final leg of the SBR.ph Tri Series Trilogy, the Triman Triathlon!

National team members Vicky Deldio and Edward Macalalad dominated the race from start to finish and became champions of the 2015 edition of the Triman Triathlon. Rain threatened to “rain” on our parade, but good thing our prayers were answered and God blessed us with perfect racing conditions! A little hot, but nothing too much :) The race consisted of 530 individuals and 28 relay participants.

Deldio, was unchallenged virtually the entire race and finished with a 1:41:51 finish time. Coach Kaye Lopez of Fit+ Coaching followed in second with a 1:48:47 and Margarita delos Reyes of Tri Clark came in third with a 1:51:30.

In the men’s division, national team athletes Edward Macalalad and Julius Constantino paced both themselves with a blazing 14:18 swim and finishes in 1:27:54 and 1:33:22 respectively. Neil Aynera of One Triathlon Team came in third with a 1:35:11.

We’d like to apologize for the late start. We had to make sure the bike course was clear of any debris because it rained hard the night before. We’d rather start a little bit late if it means 1 less accident during the event. As for the additional delay because the lane lines.. that’s another story. Sorry about that. *hint: won’t happen again!*
