Maria Claire Adorna Wins Gold in the 2015 South East Asian Games

Today is a very special day for Philippine triathlon. Top Filipino triathlete (and the reigning SBR.ph Filipino Women’s Elite Triathlete of the Year), Maria Claire Adorna wins the Gold medal in 2015 South East Asian Games in Singapore. Becoming the first athlete to win Gold for the Philippines at the 28th edition of the SEA Games.

Leading the race from start to finish, Adorna set the pace with a race best 18:45 1.5km swim and never looked back.

Adorna’s official finish time is 2:13:08. Kim Mangrobang caps the Philippine 1-2 finish and wins Silver with a time of 2:14:26.
