Mervin Santiago’s TREK Speed Concept SLR Project One | In[FOCUS] Bike
Mervin Santiago’s Trek Speed Concept SLR Project One from Dan’s Bike SHop instantly caught our eye when he posted it on his profile.
What we loved about the setup is its simplicity and how well the parts were integrated together.
The bike is equipped with a Shimano Dura Ace/Ultegra 11-speed hydraulic disc group, and a 55/42T 165mm crankset. DT Swiss Arc 1100 80mm rims paired with Pirelli Velo 26c tires provide a smooth and agile ride.
The bike also features Ceramic Speed OSP along with Aero Coach Aero ATM Cups.
The bike is sourced from Dan’s Bike Shop and is built by 2wheelnation. the bike’s white paint job speaks to Mervin’s penchant for simplicity and cleanliness. Fit is done by Bikefit MNL with Mervin himself making the necessary adjustments.
Mervin’s passion for triathlon is evident in his choice of bike, which he plans to use in his upcoming races at the Ironman Philippines and the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Finland. If he qualifies, he also hopes to compete in the Ironman world championships in Nice.
