Kuala Lumpur, 20th March – Fresh from his win in the recent IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong, Australia, Craig “Crowie” Alexander heads the men’s professional field for the coming TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya on Sunday, April 5. Alexander – an all time favourite among Malaysians and participants of the coming event, will be the event ambassador for the second year running this 2015.
Participants can also look forward to a new and exciting venue chosen for this year’s TIME IRONMAN 70.3 PUTRAJAYA. The new venue at Anjung Floria, Precinct 4, Putrajaya is the home of the Royal Floria Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival. The new location provides an amazing green scenery and an aesthetically unique Seri Saujana Bridge as the backdrop for the swim start and finish.

Australia and USA based Rebekah Keat will be leading the women’s professional field this year. Bek, a world class Australian female triathlete, has been racing triathlons at the elite level since her junior years with over 17 years in the sport. Demonstrating incredible form in 2013, she achieved a hat-trick of 70.3 wins in a row – Canberra, Shepparton and Austin. Bek is the third fastest woman in IRONMAN history.
TIME dotCom Berhad recently announce its role as title sponsor for the second edition of IRONMAN 70.3 in Putrajaya. The event is supported by Malaysia Major Events (MME), a division of the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia (MoTAC).
