MANILA, Philippines – Victoria Sports Pro Cycling (VSPC), the top-tier professional cycling team of the Philippines, is ready to elevate its game in 2025, following an extraordinary run of successes in 2024. The team is gearing up to conquer fresh international challenges and further solidify its position as a force in global cycling.
From commanding local victories to making their mark on international circuits, VSPC has consistently demonstrated their readiness to compete with the world’s elite. This year, the squad achieved standout victories both at home and abroad. Locally, Ean Cajucom earned a celebrated win at the Ramos Cycling Race, delighting Filipino cycling fans. Internationally, Nicolas Sessler delivered an exceptional performance, securing the General Classification (GC) win and Stage 2 victory at the Tour of Salalah in Oman. Teammate Jeroen Meijers added to the team’s accolades with a podium finish in Stage 4 of the same tour.
In the demanding Trans-Himalayan Cycling Race in China, the team’s collective strength earned them a commendable 5th-place finish overall. Meijers placed 6th in the GC, while Cajucom stood out with a strong 4th-place finish in Stage 3. Meanwhile, in Japan, VSPC took center stage at the OITA Urban Classic, with Meijers claiming the Road Race title and Cajucom finishing 2nd in the Criterium. At the Tour de Kyushu, Meijers secured a top-10 finish in Stage 1, with Sessler showcasing consistency throughout the competition.
