About the Series:

The Duaman Triple Crown Championship Series is an evolution of the renowned Duaman Duathlon, now transformed into a trilogy! Kicking off with the Duaman SPRINT on May 12, 2024, at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, the series promises pulse-pounding action and fierce competition. The excitement continues with the Duaman Full Distance in Clark Freeport Zone on August 4, 2024, before culminating in the grand finale, Duaman X2, at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub on November 10, 2024. Are you ready to take on the challenge and etch your name in Duaman history?

Exclusive Triple Crown Black Shirt: All Triple Crown finishers will also receive the ultra-exclusive black Duaman Triple Crown Shirt as a testament to their endurance and commitment.

Individual Age Group Awards:

In the Duaman Triple Crown Championship Series, participants will compete in the following age categories: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+.

Scoring System:

  • Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers in each age group:
  • 1st place: 25 points
  • 2nd place: 18 points
  • 3rd place: 15 points
  • 4th place: 12 points
  • 5th place: 10 points
  • 6th place: 8 points
  • 7th place: 6 points
  • 8th place: 4 points
  • 9th place: 2 points
  • 10th place: 1 point

Participation Bonus: Participants completing all three legs of the series receive an additional 50 points in the age group awards.

Tie-Breaking Process for Age Group Awards

In the event of a tie in the total points standings for Age Group Awards, the following tie-breaking process will be applied:

  1. Total Points Across All Legs:
    • The athlete with the highest total points accumulated across all legs will be ranked higher.
  2. Most Podium Finishes:
    • If still tied, the athlete with the most podium finishes (Top 3 placements) across all legs will take precedence.
  3. Best Performance in the Longest Leg:
    • If the tie persists, the athlete with the higher placement in the longest leg of the series will be declared the winner. The longest leg is considered the most demanding and decisive event.
  4. Participation Across Multiple Legs:
    • If still tied, the athlete who participated in more legs of the series will be prioritized.

Club Championship (Team Competition):

The Club Championship adds an extra layer of excitement to the Duaman Triple Crown, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among participants.

Team Composition: Each team consists of a minimum and maximum of 5 members, with at least one female participant.

Scoring System:

  • Teams are ranked based on the overall cumulative time of their top 5 finishers across all three races (Leg 1, Leg 2, and Leg 3).
  • Points are awarded to teams based on their finishing position in the Club Championship after each race:
    • 1st place: 25 points
    • 2nd place: 18 points
    • 3rd place: 15 points
    • 4th place: 12 points
    • 5th place: 10 points
    • 6th place: 8 points
    • 7th place: 6 points
    • 8th place: 4 points
    • 9th place: 2 points
    • 10th place: 1 point

Race Distances: Championship points can only be earned in the following race distances:

  • Duaman Sprint (Leg 1)
  • Duaman Full Distance (Leg 2)
  • Duaman X2 Distance (Leg 3)

Final Roster Submission: The final roster of the club championship must be submitted before the registration deadline for each race. Email your roster to [email protected].

Club Championship Scoring Sample Computations:

Here are some sample computations to illustrate how teams are ranked in the Club Championship:

  1. Scenario 1: Team A Tops the Podium:
  • Team A’s top 5 finishers achieve the fastest cumulative time across all three legs, securing 1st place in each race.
  • Team A earns 25 points after each race, resulting in a total score of 75 points.
  1. Scenario 2: Mix of Podium Finishes:
  • Team B secures podium positions in Leg 1 (1st place) and Leg 3 (3rd place) but finishes 5th in Leg 2.
  • Team B earns 25 points in Leg 1, 15 points in Leg 2, and 10 points in Leg 3, totaling 50 points.
  1. Scenario 3: Consistent Performance:
  • Team C finishes within the top 5 in all three legs, securing 4th place in each race.
  • Team C earns 10 points after each race, resulting in a total score of 30 points.

NOTES

  • The deposit slip and message body details SHOULD MATCH.
  • It is the responsibility of the registrant to inform us that payment has been made.
  • If you do not receive a code from SBR.ph within 5 calendar days, it should be assumed that it has not been received and you should contact us again by sending another by email or contacting us via social media.
  • Registrant must only deposit his/her payment on or before the last day of registration. Payments made AFTER the registration deadline will NOT be entertained and will be refunded subject to the schedule advised by the organizer AFTER THE RACE.
  • Upon receipt of the deposit slip, you will be given a registration code. Please use this code to register. You will not be included in the start list if you do not successfully register online.
  • Your name will be added to the start list only after you have successfully paid the correct amount of the race category you are joining and register online using the code given to you.
  • Keep a copy of your deposit slip for safekeeping.

REGISTRATION NOTES

  • Entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-applicable to future races. Athletes caught competing under someone else’s registration / or allowing the use of his/her race bib will be banned from joining any SBR.ph organized races for a minimum period of three (3) years, at the sole discretion of the race director and SBR.ph.
  • If you are unable to participate, you will not receive a refund for your race entry fee, but you may claim your race kit and giveaways with a minimum of 3 days AFTER THE RACE (subject to availability).
  • Force Majeure. In the event of cancellation or of definitive interruption of the competition for any reason outside the control of the Organizers, and in particular, a cancellation due to any case of force majeure, due to any decisions by public authorities ( in particular for reasons of public health, of safety or of preserving public order ) due to any risks of bad weather or bad weather conditions at the time of the event, the Organizer will incur no liability whatsoever in regard to the competitors and registration fees will not be reimbursed, and will not be applied to future races. The competitors hereby renounce any reclamation right of request for repayment whatsoever, either in the case of a cancellation or of a definitive interruption of the event.
  • Race numbers are non-transferable.
  • We strictly enforce a NO HELMET / NO RACE POLICY. There will be NO REFUND as well should you not be able to race (For the Duaman Duathlon and Triman Triathlon).
  • ALL TYPES OF BIKES ARE ALLOWED (fixies must have front and rear brakes installed. Electronically assisted bikes are not allowed).
