So, aside from hydraulic systems in the works, looks like Shimano will be releasing DA9000 with 11 speed.

Found on a Team Sky rider.

SRAM looks to be the only one (aside from Microshift) staying with 10s in the next 2 years.

the new da (7900) didn't make me drool enough to warrant a replacement for my trusty 7800..

now this.

definitely did! damn!

been wondering though.. what's the real difference/benefit of having that extra 11th cog?

the smallest is still the 11 right? i can understand if the smallest will now be a 10

based on campy, 11s has smoother shifting. 11 pa rin ang smallest. adjust lang sa # of teeth in between the biggest and the smallest cog.
