Importance of Recovery after a Triathlon, Duathlon or any Multisport Race

Recovery is the process of your body repairing the damage that was done during exercise. This includes replenishing glycogen stores, repairing muscle tissue, and reducing inflammation. If you do not recover properly, you are more likely to experience fatigue, muscle soreness, and injury. There are many things that athletes can do to promote recovery after a triathlon or multisport race.
