ITU Subic Bay International Triathlon 2011 Asian Cup
April 30-May 1, 2011 * Subic Bay, Philippines
This is an International Triathlon Union (ITU) and Asian Cup Series event and is organized by TRAP and officiated by International Technical Officials under the supervision of ITU/ASTC.
The K-SWISS SuBIT 2011 will be the 18th edition of the longest running and premier standard distance triathlon in the country. It has hosted the ITU Asian Triathlon Championships twice in 1997 and 2004.
The event will implement environmental and conservation measures as part of the GREEN TRIATHLON Program launched in January of this year. Some of the initial steps include reducing the use of paper for registration, not handing out plastic bags to the participants, and the recovery and segregation of materials used during the race for the purpose of recycling/reuse.
Deadline of Submission & Payment of Entries is on April 17, 2011 or at 850 registered participants, whichever comes first.
