Being part of the tour and interacting with the who’s who of Philippine and Asian Cycling world is a dream come true. It’s not everyday that you get invited to take part in a race where only the best of best gets chosen.

Suffice to say, the three triathletes (CDG, Jojo Lontok, and Andrew Chinalpan) who got lost in the wild and crazy world of cycling felt the difference as soon as the Peloton reached the end of the neutral zone (km 0) and blasted away with a speed of 50kph! The next time we saw a pro participant was in Jollibee as we joined them for lunch. =P

Stay tuned for more updates and pictures!

Will also be posting the nutrition the cyclists are using! We’re proud to say that we’re slowly immersing them on how we do it in Triathlon!

Now time to relax and recover! Day 2 is up next!

Notable Side Story :

Showing our world famous Pinoy hospitality, when the bike of the top rider of the Uzbekistan didn’t arrive, most of us who’s in the tour only for the experience of a lifetime (and added training too!) offered our bikes. Without it, Uzbekistan is basically a goner as they were already considering packing their bags and going home.

At first, we thought that they would be needing four bikes for stage 1, so me, jojo, and andrew, and titus of Sabak Tri Team, offered our bikes without any hesitation. After a few minutes of discussion their team captain informed us that they would only be needing 1 bike. In the end, it was Titus who lent his bike.  Kudos to you bro!

Honestly, I was ready and willing to lend my bike and spare myself from the suffering!

  1. It was fun to watch and take pictures right at the finish line of the third stage of Le Tour De Filipinas. It was great and wonderful to know that Bayombong has been a part of the history of this years tour. I wish them all good luck for tomorrow. I hope these riders started to love Nueva Vizcaya. Again good luck
