Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP), pulled out all the stops to make the 20th anniversary of Subit a memorable one. From the medal, race course, up to the finisher shirts, everything was changed to make the event even more exciting.

Unavoidable glitches happened during the race briefing though as the LED wall failed to function. As a result, Coach Ric had to brief everyone at the sideline on the fly. The reason why we think, some riders got confused and mixed the turnaround area and the right turn going to transition.

But aside from that, there’s a reason why Subit continues to be where to the best of the best of Philippine triathlon, compete and race their hearts out. And we expect TRAP to do even better next year.

We also loved the MINI cooper roving around the race course! Safely away from the participants of course :)

A triathlete making a comeback and a true blue Scorpio. That sums it up quite nicely :)

  1. Hi TRAP, please check the result of age group 30-39 Sprint. There is an unusual time for running of the 1st place. I guess the athlete missed the 2nd lap. Thanks
