Julia Timan and Mervin Santiago, both from Team Sante Barley, won the 2014 edition of the SBR.ph Tri Series Triman Triathlon! Timan dominated the women’s division with a blazing 1:47:11 finish time ahead of Maria Bacalzo and Janet Ang Ching, who finished in second (1:53:13) and third (1:55:02) respectively. In the men’s division, Santiago finished in 1:26:07 and overcame a 3 minute swim deficit from Emmanuel Balacuit, who had the fastest swimming time of 16:45. Balacuit settled for second (1:27:57) while Gabriel Vargas wrapped up the men’s overall, with a 1:30:20 for third place.
