Thousands of sport enthusiasts are set to descend on Taitung, located on Taiwan’s stunning tropical east coast for the Challenge Taiwan Festival taking place over the weekend of 25 April, 2015 with events designed for the entire community to participate in.

While Challenge Taiwan half Iron-distance event remains the centerpiece of the weekend we are pleased to launch our Tri.Asia Olympic distance race for those new to triathlon.
The Olympic distance format is a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run, you can participate as an individual or part of a relay team with your friends.
The Tri.Asia event offers a great opportunity to anyone wanting to participate and experience the challenge and fun of triathlon. Whether you’re a beginner triathlete, a cyclist, runner or gym enthusiast it is an achievable goal.
Challenge Taiwan participants who will complete a 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21.1km run you only have to do half the distance but get the thrill of competing over the same course.
