A rare 3 in 1 event which doesn’t happen too often . Oh and did we say that the entire race happened inside a 4km race track!?
The Clark International Speedway proved to be the perfect venue for the Sante Barley Domination 2015. The unique combination of triathletes, tri-bikes, aerobars, and the pancake flat asphalt was an aero-dream-come-true for those who wants nothing more than to put their head down and hammer their pedals. Drafting was allowed during the entire race as well.
It also helped that the weather cooperated on race day. A slight overcast with slight rainshowers (Sorry Kuya Kim if I made a mistake somewhere :P – CDG) allowed the athletes to dominate (no pun included) and set their personal bests.
The Criterium and the ITT (Individual Time Trial) smashfests were also a sight too behold. Our only wish? That the track was a little bit longer. Imagine if there’s a 10km version. :)
