Congratulations to all the winners and finishers of the 2015 Dinagat Islands Triathlon Challenge! Dinagat Islands Triathlon Challenge is the very first sport event of its kind launched in CARAGA Region on May 17, 2013 initiated by Sir Ruben M. Ecleo.
Dinagat Islands, having a strategic location enhanced with exceptional natural resources is suitable to cater the three events of triathlon. The birth of DINAGAT ISLANDS TRIATHLON CHALLENGE in the Municipality of San Jose was through the ingenuity of Sir Ruben M. Ecleo III, the Founder of Rubenian International and the Chairman and CEO of Ruben E. Ecleo Sr. Foundation Inc., (REESFI) whose vision is for the Municipality of San Jose and the Province of Dinagat Islands to be acknowledged as an arena for various athletic undertakings and a renowned tourist destination not only in CARAGA Region, but throughout the country.
Festive and scenic would be an understatement if we were to describe this year’s Dinagat Islands Triathlon Challenge. Aside from having one of the best venues to organize a triathlon race, The Dinagat Islands Triathlon Challenge also boasts of having the top prize money total of all events! A whopping 400k cash money for the winners!
