IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye Korea came second only to Sunshine Coast in athlete satisfaction last year in the Asia-Pacific region. Registration is now open and they are taking entries (until Aug. 20th) as IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye gets underway on, 25 September 2016!

Greetings from IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye, Korea!
On top of making every effort to put on a best event ever, we are planning something very special this year for all the athletes. This year IRONMAN legend and Hall of Fame member Julie Moss will join our race. It would be her first ever IRONMAN appearance in Asia. She’ll not only race along with you but will take part in various pre-race promotional events as well, so don’t miss out.
Also, this year, in hopes of giving something back to all the athletes who have given us their utmost support we’ve prepared a very special gift for everyone who has registered for the IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye. Every athlete gets to choose one item from their choice of a cycle jersey set(top+bottom), sunglasses, and runners. Plus finisher tees and souvenirs. It’s the least we can do for bringing excitement and joy to our sleepy little country town.
The IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye, Korea Swim Course
Ever since we started hosting IRONMAN 70.3 events athletes have been raving about how beautiful Gurye’s triathlon courses are. Picturesque mountains and cobalt blue skies paint a bucolic backdrop to the dramatic race activities below. And all through the bike and run course, wide and winsome river rarely leaves your side. Moreover, it’s mostly flat and a fast course a definite PB course for experienced athletes. And it’s perfect for beginning triathletes as well especially because our swim venue has calm fresh water with almost no waves and our start is a rolling start where faster swimmers goes first allowing you to swim with a group you’re most comfortable with. But we recommend that you wear you wetsuits. Our water temperature is around 21 degrees C on race week. Also, shuttle bus service to the Gurye venue is available at Incheon international airport.
The IRONMAN 70.3 Gurye, Korea is a Qualifier to the Ironman 70.3 World Championship 2017.
