The Best Way To Go Aero?

Meet the Bird of Prey. A bike designed by John Aldridge that allows the rider to lay flat on their stomach while riding their bike. Is it safe? Comfortable? We’ll let you be the judge.

Aldridge claims that he has never fallen off the bike even while riding it at speeds up to 45mph. Yep, that’s in mph.

For triathletes, it’s all about how low you can go for the sake of #aero. But how will your legs perform after the bike? Can you hold this for 180kms?

WATCH :

Do you like it? Or better yet, would you buy one? The bike is still a prototype and not yet for sale.

Being aero geeks ourselves, our only wish is that he gets rid of the T-SHIRT and wears proper LYCRA like the rest of us. We’re betting all the aero advantage he got with that bike is negated by the drag that his T-SHIRT caused.

Aero trumps everything.

SBR.ph Team

A triathlete making a comeback and a true blue Scorpio. That sums it up quite nicely :)
