Aquaman Aquathlon 2017 | Race Results and Review
YOU ARE AN AQUAMAN! Congratulations to the winners and finishers of the Aquaman Aquathlon 2017! This is the first leg of the SBR.ph Tri Series 2017 Powered By Go For Gold! You guys rock!
With close to 500 participants in attendance, this year’s Aquaman Aquathlon is the biggest Aquaman event in SBR.ph history. Based on our estimate, about 91% were first timers! Thank you for making us your first and we hope you had a blast! :)
A lot of first timers conquered the distance and we’re so happy to say that we had a 100% finishing rate! This is also the first time that we introduced the LITE DISTANCE which made up at least 30% of the overall number of participants. Do you want us to continue with the LITE DISTANCE? Let us know in the comments!
We experienced some glitches along the way as some participants either started in the wrong wave or in the wrong category (full / lite) which caused glitches in the awarding ceremony. We’re already working on this to make sure we can improve our information dissemination. We’re also considering on making the registration 100% online to improve our database accuracy. Definitely nothing that can’t be fixed,
