Cebu To Host The IRONMAN Until 2022
After the Cebu Town Mayor denied IRONMAN from using the SRP for its bike course; Sunrise Events, Cebu and the event’s title sponsor, Regent Aguila, forged a five year pack which ensures the event will stay in Cebu for five more years.
How about that for a comeback?
The country’s growing multisport community and the world’s best athletes can now call Cebu as their home for the next five years. This year’s 70.3 is also the biggest in terms of the number of participants and level of competition in the pro division.
A record number of 2,700 athletes from over 51 countries are set to battle it out on Sunday at the Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championships!
