National Age Group Triathlon 2019 | Race Results and Review

The crazy weather wasn’t enough to deter close to 700 athletes from conquering the blazing sun and the nasty crosswinds of the National Age Group Triathlon in Subic Bay!
SBR.ph is a proud media partner of the National Age Group Triathlon Series.
It was John Rambo Chicano and Kim Kilgroe who took away top honors at the recently concluded National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) Leg 1 held in Subic Bay last January 27, 2019.
Chicano finished crossed the line with the only sub-2 time of the day in 1:58:47. Fer Casares and John Kim Remolino finished in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the women’s division, Kim Kilgroe swam a women’s best 22:05 time which proved to be enough the get a decisive win over Alexandra Ganzon and Jacqui Lamparero.
Organized by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP), the event opened the year with a record number of participants, especially in the age group division, eager to start their 2019 season.
