The event is in celebration of Tacloban City’s 11th year of becoming one of the country’s highly-urbanized city in Eastern Visayas. The event has 3 categories for runners to select from, the 5km and 10km fun run on Dec. 8, 2019, and the highly anticipated 50km ultramarathon on Dec. 7, 2019. This is the 2nd year where organizers led by local club Team Waray Leyte Samar Ultra Runners or Team Waray included the 50km ultramarathon to close the year of runners with enough mileage going into the holidays.
