What is a Virtual Challenge?
A Virtual Challenge is an athletic event you can complete anywhere at your own pace. You may do the challenge at a schedule most convenient for you as long as it is completed within the race duration.
When can I register for the Challenge?

How long is the race duration?
You can start doing your workouts at 12:01 am on Dec 8, 2020, Philippine Time. You can do your last workout on March 8, 2021 but it must be uploaded before 11:59 PM of March 8, 2021.

From which countries do you accept entries?
We warmly welcome entries from all over the world! However, we will follow the Philippine Time for all schedules. We will ship the finisher’s shirts and medals to participants from overseas for a fee. Shipment fee will be courtesy of the participant. Average fee for this is USD30.00.

What types of workout are counted?
Various types of workouts will be counted so that participants with different experience levels can join! You can log distance based workouts such as running, cycling, swimming, walking, and rowing.

We’ll also be counting non-distance based workouts such as yoga, golf, CrossFit, dancing, and more. In order for you to log these types of exercises, we have a conversion chart that converts time doing these activities into specific distance equivalents that you can use.

Workout Conversion Rate:
Yoga 20 minutes = 1 kilometer
Golf 20 minutes = 1 kilometer
Gym and Pilates 15 minutes = 1 kilometer
Dancing (all types including Zumba) 10 minutes = 1 kilometer
Rock Climbing 10 minutes = 1 kilometer
Jump Rope 8 minutes = 1 kilometer

What devices can I use to track my workouts?
You may use your favorite workout-tracking applications (ex. Strava, Runkeeper), smartwatch (ex. Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Polar, Timex), and Health Apps from your smartphones as long as they can accurately track your time and distance. You will have to upload your data to our website.

How many events/distances are there?

The distances are as follows:

Atleta Sweat
Participants must complete the distance until March 8, 2021 through non-machine workouts such as running, swimming, walking, practicing yoga, playing golf, jumping rope, dancing, rock climbing, weightlifting, CrossFit or Pilates. What’s stopping someone from cheating?
We have our ways of detecting cheaters but we are aware that people will still find a way to cheat if they choose to do so (ex. having their faster friends or dogs wear their smart watches). We’d like to remind you all though that if you cheat, you are just cheating yourselves, and wasting the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle.

How much are the race fees?
Atleta Sweat
50 kilometers – P1300
100 kilometers – P1500
Atleta Steel
150 kilometers – P1300
300 kilometers – P1500
