NTT AST Subic Bay International Triathlon (SuBIT) 2022 | May 1, 2022

Registration for the much awaited and longest running triathlon event in the Philippines is now open! SuBIT 2022 happens on May 1, 2022 in Subic Bay.

  • Elite Open and U23
  • Age Group Sprint Men & Women: 20-24,25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-60    
  • Age Group Standard Distance Men and Women: 20-24,25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-60
  • Age Group Sprint Distance Boys and Girls: 13-15
  • Team Relay Standard All Men, All Women and Mixed
  • Age Group Sprint Distance Boys and Girls: 13-15
  • Team Relay Standard All Men, All Women and Mixed

HEALTH MANAGEMENT

In accordance with IATF and SBMA directives, the use of masks in all public places is required.

Throughout the 7-day period before, during, and after the 2022 SuBIT, all persons involved should perform regular health self-checks such as temperature detection and monitoring of symptoms.

 Pre-Race Requirements:

  • Download and sign the Waiver, Health Declaration Form, and Pledge of Adherence to all safety protocols 2022 SuBIT FORMS
  • Request for a Medical Certificate of Fit to Race.
  • Prepare Parental Consent for minors joining the race.
  • Prepare the Vaccination Card.

 Race Protocols:

  • Take an on-site Antigen Test and produce a negative COVID-19 result before proceeding to the registration area.
  • Note: Antigen Test will be paid by athletes and/or their companion.
  • Upon registration, provide a copy of your valid ID and vaccination card, your Negative COVID-19 test result, a signed Event Waiver, and a signed Health Declaration Form. Also submit a duly-signed pledge of adherence to all safety protocols, and parental consent for minors.
  • Working spaces and manpower deployment will be organized in a manner where physical distancing is respected.
  • All pre- and post-race activities shall be socially distant or done virtually where possible.

Post-Race Protocol:

  • At Alert Level 1, the responsibility for contact tracing now lies with each individual rather than the event organizers or LGU.
  • Participants, members of the LOC, Technical Officials, volunteers, and all involved in the 2022 SuBIT are encouraged to undergo self-quarantine and monitoring for at least seven (7) days after the event.
  • One week post-race, should anybody test positive for COVID-19 or experience common symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, headache, or loss of taste or smell, this person must be responsible for informing their close contacts.
  • The use of apps such as StaySafe.Ph is strongly encouraged.

RACE INCLUSIONS

Registered participants will receive the following in their race kit: race bib, swim cap, timing chip rental, and event shirt.  Finishers will be receiving a finisher’s medal.

REGISTRATION REMINDERS

  • Paid fees are non-refundable, non-transferable & non-creditable to future TRAP races.
  • Registration fee will cover cost of participation, swim cap, timing chip, race bib, bike & helmet stickers, finisher’s medal and event shirt.
