Ajinomoto Co., Inc. Announces Premium Partnership for the 32nd SEA Games

Ajinomoto Co., Inc. has signed an agreement to become the official sponsor of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) and the 12th ASEAN Para Games. The games, which will take place in Cambodia in May and June 2023, are the largest sporting events in Southeast Asia, with more than 600 million people tuning in across the region. Ajinomoto Co. will provide support as a Premium Partner of the CAMBODIA 2023.

Since 2017, Ajinomoto Co. has sponsored four consecutive SEA Games, and now, the company will continue to support the games with a focus on the Victory Project®, an initiative that supports the conditioning of top-level athletes in Japan. The company aims to provide nutrition and education support to national athletes to help them realize their full potential.

The Victory Project® was first launched in 2003 and utilizes the power of amino acids to provide nutritional support. Since 2018, the initiative has been rolled out in six Ajinomoto Group Companies in the ASEAN region, including the Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) Group. The APC Group has provided Winning Meals Kachimeshi® support to Philippines’ top Karate athlete, Junna Tsukii, who won a Gold Medal in the women’s kumite 50 kg at the 2019 SEA Games and 2022 World Games.

Ajinomoto Co. is committed to realizing greater wellness for people worldwide, and the company’s support of the SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games is part of that mission. As the games approach, Ajinomoto Co. is proud to support the athletes and promote stronger regional cooperation, understanding, and unity within the Southeast Asian community.
