Subic Bay Gets Ready for TriFactor Triathlon Philippines
Subic Bay is set to host the latest addition to TriFactor’s Asian race calendar with the TriFactor Triathlon Philippines taking place on February 12th, 2023. Known for being one of the Philippines’ top tourist destinations and the Triathlon Capital of the country, Subic Bay promises an abundance of attractions for participants and spectators alike.
The first-ever TriFactor Triathlon Philippines will kick off with a swim in the Boardwalk area of Subic Bay, followed by a 40 km bike ride along the Argonaut highway, and ending with a run through the Central Business District of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). Participants can expect a fully immersive race experience, surrounded by friends, family, and supporters along the course, while also taking in the scenic seascape and natural harbor of Subic Bay.
Jem Camba, Head of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Tourism Department, expressed excitement over the event, saying “We welcome TriFactor as our latest addition to our international events that affirms Subic Bay’s claim to being the triathlon and sports tourism capital of the Philippines. As we team up with GoClark and Orange Room Asia, we look forward to more years of partnership that will benefit the tourism stakeholders of Subic Bay.”
TriFactor Founder and CEO of Orange Room Asia, Elvin Ting, added, “I am excited to finally bring back the TriFactor triathlon event to Philippines and an amazing start to the 2023 TriFactor region races. It has been almost 3 years since the last TriFactor triathlon in Philippines previously held at Camsur CWC and I look forward to a great race at the scenic Subic Bay.”

The TriFactor Triathlon Philippines is presented by Cycles and Brew and supported by SBMA, Finis Swimming Philippines, Garmin Philippines, SYLBS Performance Wear, Velogicfit, AsiaTRI, and Booster-C. The next TriFactor Philippines event will be held in Clark on July 9, 2023.
