ASICS Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Manila Returns for Its Fourth Year, Promising an Unforgettable Fusion of Fitness, Music, and Community

The ASICS Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Manila presented by AIA is set to once again energize the streets of Manila on November 23-24, 2024. Now in its fourth year, the globally celebrated event continues to merge health, music, and culture, bringing together runners from across 58 countries for a weekend of unparalleled excitement.

This year’s event, which marks the eighth stop of the 2024 Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series, is expected to attract close to 9,500 participants. Whether running a marathon, 21K, AIA 10K, or 5K, participants will experience Manila’s rich heritage along an AIMS and World Athletics-certified course, featuring some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

A Showcase of Manila’s Historic Charm

The race kicks off along Roxas Boulevard, offering stunning views of Manila Bay, before weaving through the historic streets of Intramuros, the cobblestones of Binondo, and culminating at the picturesque Rizal Park. These locations highlight the cultural vibrancy and historical depth of the City of Manila.

• Remix Challenge: A unique opportunity for runners to compete in multiple distances across the event and earn a special Remix Challenge Medal.
• Entertainment at Every Turn: From live bands and DJs to dynamic drumbeaters and performances, the racecourse is a celebration of music and energy. The festivities culminate in a post-race concert featuring acts like Gracenote, Jason Fernandez, and more.
• AIA Health and Wellness Expo: Opening on November 19, the expo offers a sneak peek at the latest in fitness gear, health products, and exclusive promotions.

The ASICS Rock ‘n’ Roll Manila has garnered numerous accolades, including the Philippines Sports Tourism Award for Best Destination Marketing Event, affirming its significant impact on local tourism. Moreover, its course certification qualifies runners for prestigious international marathons, including the newly added Sydney Marathon, part of the World Marathon Majors.
