AquaKids at Aquaman Aquathlon 2025 – Race Day Starts Here
Young Triathletes Take the Spotlight This May

The much-anticipated Aquaman Aquathlon 2025, the opening leg of the Go For Gold SBR.ph Tri Series Presented by Vitargo, will once again shine the spotlight on young multisport athletes with the return of its dedicated kids division: AquaKids.
Scheduled for May 11, 2025 at the world-class Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, the event gives children aged 7 to 14 a professionally organized opportunity to swim, run, and finish strong—just like the adults. As part of the country’s longest-running multisport race series, AquaKids continues to be one of the most awaited youth endurance events in the calendar.
“AquaKids is where future triathletes are born,” said Carlos de Guzman, founder of SBR.ph. “It’s more than just a race—it’s an experience that inspires confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship. Every young athlete deserves a finish line moment.”
Participants will be grouped into four age brackets and will race over age-appropriate distances:
- 7–8 years old: 100m Swim – 600m Run
- 9–10 years old: 100m Swim – 600m Run
- 11–12 years old: 300m Swim – 2K Run
- 13–14 years old: 300m Swim – 2K Run
All AquaKids participants will receive a complete race kit including a personalized bib, swim cap, timing chip, finisher’s medal, finisher’s shirt, and a post-race meal. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers per age group.
Importantly, there are no cut-off times in AquaKids—ensuring that every participant, regardless of pace or experience, gets the full race-day experience and crosses the finish line with the crowd cheering.

Now on its 13th year, the SBR.ph Tri Series continues to promote grassroots multisport racing across all levels and age groups. With the support of Go For Gold and Vitargo, AquaKids remains a critical pillar in shaping the next generation of Filipino endurance athletes.
