The Aquaman Aquathlon 2025, proudly part of the Go For Gold SBR.ph Tri Series Presented By Vitargo, kicks off on May 11, 2025, at the world-class Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub.

This swim-run event is perfect for all types of athletes—whether you’re a first-timer looking to start your multisport journey, a young athlete eager to compete, or a seasoned competitor aiming for a new personal best.

As the first race in the 2025 SBR.ph Tri Series, the Aquaman Aquathlon sets the stage for an exciting season of challenges and achievements. With multiple categories tailored for all levels, including AquaKids and Relay Teams, this race offers something for everyone.

The Aquaman Aquathlon 2025 features multiple race categories tailored for athletes of all ages and experience levels. Compete as an individual or part of a team and aim for the top of your age group!

Full Distance

• Distance: 800m Swim – 5km Run
• Male and Female Age Group Categories:
  • 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and above
• Awards: Trophies for the Top 3 finishers in each age group.

Lite Distance

• Distance: 400m Swim – 2.5km Run
• Male and Female Age Group Categories:
  • 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and above
• Awards: Trophies for the Top 3 finishers in each age group.

AquaKids

• Age-Specific Categories and Distances:
  • 7-8 Years Old: 100m Swim – 600m Run
  • 9-10 Years Old: 100m Swim – 600m Run
  • 11-12 Years Old: 300m Swim – 2km Run
  • 13-14 Years Old: 300m Swim – 2km Run
• Male and Female Age Group Categories:
  • 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14
• Awards: Trophies for the Top 3 finishers in each age group.

Aquaman Relay (Full Distance Only)

• Distance: 800m Swim – 5km Run
• Mixed Category: Compete as a team of two (one swimmer, one runner).
• Awards: Trophies for the Top 3 teams.

Age Group Calculation

To compute your age group, use the formula:
2025 - Year of Birth = Your Age Group
Example: 2025 - 1985 = 40

WAVE START TIMES

Know the course before you race it. Below are the official swim and run routes for Aquaman Aquathlon 2025. Whether you're gunning for a podium or just looking to finish strong, familiarizing yourself with the layout will help you pace and plan your effort more efficiently. Study the maps, visualize your flow, and be race-day ready.

AQUAMAN SWIM – All Aquaman Aquathlon FULL and LITE participants will start on their respective lanes Land and will be released via our signature Age Group Mass Starts. Take note that as participants, it’s your duty to know the course and keep track of your laps. Participants will start on the right most side of the pool, complete the required laps (8 laps per 400m). After finishing their set, swimmers will turn left and then turn left again towards the transition area. Aquaman FULL (800m) will do the swim course twice while Aquaman LITE (400m) participants will only do it once.
