ASTUTE STAR PILARGA SADDLES (STAR LINE & STAR LITE)

This saddle is the result of the exclusive Star project developed by Astute Labs for demanding athletes riding in an aggressive position and seeking advanced solutions. Round design for on-road racing. Ensures high performance during races or training sessions.

The PILARGA version (meaning “larger” in Venetian dialect) features dedicated dimensions – with a width of 145 mm instead of the traditional 135 mm – and is designed to provide higher comfort and performance for athletes with larger sit bones. Features an open U-shaped shell in 15% carbon-fiber reinforced nylon. Designed to reduce pressure on the perineum and provide greater support under high-strain conditions. The Cover Design System technology, an innovating rubber system designed to cover the shell and minimize vibrations.
Black painted titanium rail with tubular Titan-V Technology – 80% titanium and 20% vanadium. Lightweight, durable and anti-vibration for full comfort and reliability.
The Asymmetric Rear Design System provides a bold, easily recognizable design even while riding, with a unique asymmetric soft-touch bow. The top of the saddle features the Top Design System technology, a specially designed cover that lines the central cut-out of the saddle. Only available in total black. The VT seat (from “verta”, i.e. “open” in Venetian dialect) has been designed with a central cut-out to eliminate pressure peaks in the pelvic area. The «tension arc» is created with a perfectly balanced weight distribution for smooth, comfortable riding. Ultimate comfort, lightweight and high performance. Features three-density Progressive Memory Foam padding for 3 different seating areas, firmer in the back to support the sit bones, and softer on the front. Made in Italy and Eco label certified, the waterproof microfiber coating features a dedicated print and is easily washable with soap and water.
