The Proviz Switch Gilet is made from a dual-layer out shell that can be worn either way to give you two options, one for the day and one for night.
By day, the fluorescent yellow material enables customers to stand out and be clearly seen. By night the reflective material lights up when vehicle headlights are shined upon it enabling the user to be seen more clearly on the roads at night, therefore enabling drivers to adapt accordingly to your position on the road.
About the fabrics: The fabrics used for the Switch range were chosen specifically to make the Switch gilet extremely versatile. The reflective material used is the same as the incredibly popular REFLECT360 range and it is certified to CE EN 20471 standard.
Proviz is an International Award Winning Sports Brand, distributed in 40 countries, and has the largest range of specialist enhanced visibility sports products on the market. It is renowned for its innovation and quality. It all started in 2008 in a small flat in London where two brothers were commuting to their corporate jobs. It was during their daily commutes by bike to work that they realised the limitations of the products they were using. They identified a gap in the market to provide highly innovative, light-emitting and reflective cycling products. Inspired by their experiences (good and bad!) and with no prior retail or product manufacturing experience they designed five innovative cycling products. From those humble beginnings, the Proviz Brand was born and continues to provide innovative high visibility, high-performance products. With the two founders being avid sports fanatics they know just how important fit, quality and price are when buying products. The ethos and integrity that they placed on the brand is as important now as it was in 2008, and that is to provide ‘best in class’ products that are high quality, innovative, unique and highly effective so users feel safer but also comfortable wearing them. One of the things the founders are most proud of is seeing the places the products go and hearing the stories that go with them.
