Our IRONMAN brother, Jirome de Castro, is racing the Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship this August for Dystonia awareness and to raise funds for the people diagnosed with the disorder.
As a backgrounder, X-Linked Dystonia Parkinsonism is a rare and painful movement disorder which currently has no permanent cure. All proceeds shall be used to fund the medicines needed which provides temporary relief from the pulling, twisting and tightening of their muscles on different parts of their body.
Jirome has it as well.
