According to Daily Sabah, a Turkish woman claimed that her husband’s obsession with the two wheeled machines caused their marriage to fall apart and ruin their lives.
Married for two years, the wife, Yağmur Z., demanded 400,000 Turkish Lira (a whopping $106,111) from her husband, Burak Z., as compensation.
“My husband always spends time with his bicycle. He has a different kind of a bond with it,” Yağmur Z., said in her complaint
“He also always cleans up and fixes his bicycle in the middle of the living room on a daily basis. He is literally in love with the bike,” she added.
Yağmur Z., also mentioned that her husband has abandoned her and claims that her mental health has been negatively affected by her husband’s obsession with bicycles.
Based on the article, there is no available information yet about the husband’s statement. Interestingly enough, infidelity wasn’t mentioned as one of the grounds for the divorce.
