The First Muscular Dystrophy run in the Philippines is happening on September 8, 2019, at the Seascape Village, CCP Complex Pasay City organized by Thinksportph, in partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of the Philippines (MDAP).

EVENT DETAILS
Thinksportsph, in partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of the Philippines (MDAP), spearheads the First Muscular Dystrophy run in the Philippines.
MDAP is a patient support group for families afflicted with muscular dystrophy. The most common among genetic muscle conditions, muscular dystrophy manifests itself as progressive muscle weakness, walking difficulties, and muscle wasting in all age groups.
MDAP hopes to procure a mobility van designed for PWDs, as well as a halfway house, which can provide MDAP members from the provinces a transient home as they seek specialist consultation or regular follow-ups in Metro Manila.
