2019 is the year for you to again brave the shores of Sarangani and swim like a Lawihan Tuna to the the shores of the Tuna Capital of the Philippines Gen. Santos City!
Tunaman Triathlon will be on September 8, 2019 at Dolores Tropicana Beach Resort, Tambler, Gen. Santos City.
“NO BOUYS. NO LINES.”
Tunaman will be a BOAT START TRIATHLON where all participants will board & be transported by our authentic steel hulled tuna boat and directly dropped to the starting area 1.5km from the shore and have them swim back straight to the beach for Transition 1.
“PURE GUTS AND BRAVERY NEEDED!”
The speedy bike & spicy run leg will be along the scenic Sarangani bay coastline.
CATEGORIES
- Standard Distance Individual and relay: 1.5km open water boat start swim, 40km bike & 10km run
- Standard Distance Relay 1.5k Swim 40k Bike 10k Run
- Sprint Distance Individual: 750m boat start open water swim, 20km scenic bike, 5km run
There will be no age grouping for Sprint distance. Only the top 3 of the sprint category will be given awards
REGISTRATION
Individual Standard & Sprint Distance: P3,500
Relay: P5,200/team (3 or 2 participants)
Inclusive of: Race Kit, Finishers Medal, Finishers Shirt, Tunaman Swim Cap, Pre-Race Briefing Carbo Loading & Post race meal with fresh tuna sashime feast plus a chance to swim, bike and run the very unique Tunaman race course
