Le Tour de Filipinas Stage 4 | Race Results and Review

GO GO GO PINOYS! Filipino’s dominated the Le Tour de Filipinas 2012! Jose Calderon, of Mail and More, won the brutal 4th stage of the Tour. Climbing neck to neck all the way to the finish line with eventual yellow jersey winner, Baler Ravina of GO21. Keong Sea Loh of TSI rounded up podium placers of the 4th and final stage.

We did it everyone! This is something we can all truly be proud of!

19 athletes DNF’d at the fourth stage, we saw some riders quitting the race as early as the first KOM climb.

Rustom Lim of American Vinyl/LPGMA showed why he’s considered as the future of Philippine cycling by winning the white jersey (best young rider) of the tour. For the green jersey (best sprinter), Arnel Quirimit, of GO21 was edged out by a point by A Turaev of UST Team. C. Feng of ACT was the best climber of the tour, winning the Polka Dot Jersey (best climber) in the final 2 stages of the tour.

Filipino’s once again showed their dominance in the team classification, American Vinyl/LPGMA was the best team of the tour. Followed by Mail and More and Smart Team
