Congratulations to the winners and finishers of the most scenic triathlon in the country, the Mt. Mayon Triathlon!
True to its tagline,#BiggerBetter, the Mt. Mayon Triathlon 2017 once again lived up to its name as the most scenic triathlon race in the country – and it is indeed Bigger and Better.
Now dubbed as an ASTC race, elite athletes from all over Asia competed in the elite category as well as some of the best athletes of the local scene.
We can still remember from the first time we covered (and raced!) the event and very happy to see that the race has grown from 200+ athletes in the first year to 600+ participants this year. With the backing of TRAP (Triathlon Association of the Philippines) and the full support of the LGU, Mt. Mayon Triathlon has now established itself as one of the premier races of the country. Which in itself is a good thing, because it means that Mt. Mayon Triathlon is here to stay.
